At POWER STATION OF ART, the newly created museum and often compared to the Tate Modern in Shanghai, the exhibition highlights all the series JR created over the years and that led to his current INSIDE OUT project. From PORTRAIT OF A GENERATION (2004-06) to UNFRAMED (2010-14) JR shows how in different contexts and around the world he managed to involve the people in the creative process in order to create monumental and singular actions based on black and white outdoor pastings. As an example the iconic WOMEN ARE HEROES (2008-11) project has travelled to more than 12 countries and made it into a feature documentary.
